The Frontier to Infinite Possibilities- Part 2

The Frontier to Infinite Possibilities: The Mind Congruent with the Imagination

by Lorraine P. Kreimeyer

Great Beings tell us in many languages and from every era that peace, beauty and whatever we are seeking isn't 'out there' but that these are qualities in each of us. Some of the keys to these treasures, they say, are in taking time to be alone, quiet, to connect with nature and to create.

I wonder why, when people we admire tell us what works for them, we doubt, ignore, or think what they practice isn't for us?

We tend to think that  rest, play, connecting with nature and creating are luxuries rather than essentials. These things as so outside the norm for most people they seem exotic! Don't be fooled into believing exotic only happens on safaris and remote islands.

Many people have assumed 'Butterfly Girl' was photo-shopped. IT WAS NOT. Why, when magical things happen, do most people doubt and then relegate it to the imagination, the place we put everything we don't understand? Just what qualifies a place as exotic: the place or the perception?

Websters Dictionary defines exotic as: "foreign, imported, hence having the charm or fascination of the unfamiliar; strangely beautiful, enticing."

Spending time alone, being quiet, making something or being in nature - pick the one you're most unfamiliar with and see what happens.

No one can guarantee a Magical experience. But I dare you to try just one.

Time, I know, is valuable and it is the essential investment asked of you.

Let some words from a soul most of us have come to esteem inspire you:

"A society's competitive advantage will come not from how well its schools teach the multiplication and periodic tables, but from how well they stimulate imagination and creativity." - Albert Einstein

"PLAY is the best scientific Research." - Albert Einstein

I thank you for taking time to read this, for looking at 'Butterfly Girl' and a special thank-you if you bought it. I hope it will inspire you. I hope the awe and wonder I experienced resonates from this photograph for you and anyone you share it with. And remember,  when you buy anyone's art work:

"When buying from an artist/maker you're buying more than just an object/painting. You are buying hundreds of hours of failures and experimentation.  You are buying days, weeks and months of frustration and moments of pure joy. You aren't just buying a THING. You're buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a moment of someone's life. Most importantly, you're buying the artist more time to do something they are passionate about." (Author Unknown...for now)

With all my passion, purpose and power, I thank you....Lorraine P. Kreimeyer
